This is a sponsored blog post in conjunction with Groupon and Groupon Coupon. All opinions are my own.
We are sliding right into September and I hate to tell you, but I keep having one thought: I am so glad that we are not (yet) shopping for school supplies and new shoes times three. Gulp. The very thought of the mini-mortgage payment it’s going to take the get three kiddos ready for school already makes me shiver.
So, even though we are not stocking up on crayons and pencils and notebooks galore, all the fall sales and specials have me thinking about the topic that comes up WEEKLY, if not daily in my conversations with other moms: just how do you save more money for your family?
I come from a long line of budget champions. You don’t believe me? My mom is a gold medal coupon clipper. Hundreds of coupons float around her purse and somehow she plucks the right one out at the checkout every time. Also, I have a grandmother that sends me ALL the diaper and baby care coupons she can find every week. I’m serious- isn’t that amazing? Every week I receive a stamped, hand-written card in the mail with baby coupons. It is so thoughtful and with three little ones in diapers, this is an amazing gift! But still, even with these helpers, I am always looking for something else to help my family save money. I don’t have the patience or organization to keep up with a purse full of clipped coupons and the truth is: I need it to be easier.
Where am I going with this? I’m going to assume that you already know about Groupon. It’s the awesome service that allows you to buy services and products for a fraction of the cost. Did you know that they have just rolled out a new service and they called on the little Party of Five Blog to help spread the word? It’s kind of hard to contain my excitement about this!! Since shopping for the family serves as my mom-brain-relief-therapy-relax-space, I was more than happy to oblige. They called me a mom-influencer, by the way, how exciting is that??
The new service is called Groupon Coupons and it is completely and totally free. With traditional Groupons you pre-pay and then use your voucher. We use regular Groupon all. the. time. This new service allows you to automatically search through more than 9,000 retailers (yes! 9,000) and instantly use the coupon codes.
Ok, that sounds great, but what kinds of places are we talking about?
After you head over to the Groupon Coupon page, you can search all of the retailers.
The first one that caught my eye was Amazon. The incredible Amazon is practically my family’s personal delivery service and we get everything from diapers to baby bottles from them. Groupon Coupon will offer you additional coupon codes for your purchases. Come on y’all, we literally desire EVERYTHING from this company. And the stuff we don’t just want is stuff we actually need. You will view different coupons and coupon codes depending on the day. The coolest part? You don’t have to sign up and there’s no annoying e-mails. Just check out the Groupon page and that’s it!
There is another retailer with whom I have a very serious and personal relationship- Babies ‘R Us. When I saw that they are on the list of Groupon Coupons, well, my heart skipped a beat! Sippy cups, yes please! Diaper cream? Bring it on! Coupons vary weekly, so go check it out. I would say we have single-handedly kept a few stores open just with our baby needs, so to see additional savings is fantastic!
Thank you to Groupon for inviting The Party of Five blog to be a part of this campaign. As every family knows, value and quality is super important and thank you to companies that can give us a hand with savings. That’s all for now as I continue on my journey of being a Money Saving Mama!
Happy Fall!
