2016 was difficult, amazing, beautiful and challenging. We loved every second of it, even the hard parts, because in 2016 we became a family of five.

We packed our bags and traveled from chilly New York to warm and sunny Texas and Central America in April.
We celebrated our third wedding anniversary in July! Yes, three years and three babies.
All three babies were baptized in August in what we refer to as “Baptism-paloozza” . It sounds crazy because it was crazy and we couldn’t have pulled it off without everyone’s help. Even the priest said, “Three for one, we ‘ve never done this before!”
We did all the fall things in October!
Much of 2016 felt like this… Just put your helmet on and even if you can’t see what’s up ahead, have faith and you’ll be ok.
This little princess continued to be the calmest and most easy going baby- she completes our family in the sweetest way!
And just like that…the holidays came and went!
Christmas Morning
It was very hard to choose from the zillions of pictures, but I think these show a true portrait of our 2016. What you can’t see from pictures is the extreme kindness and generosity shown to us by all of our family and friends this year. We are so blessed to have a family that will drop everything for us, travel long distances to see us, and do everything from the most mundane tasks (I think everyone has washed dishes at our house this year!) to the most important. We love you all and look forward to a great 2017!
